Tandem Repeats over the edit distance
Changes in Progress
-
Due to the large amounts of repeats found in each chromosome, we are working on developing a clustering scheme to group related repeats together.
-
We are going to allow the user to set the input parameters in the online run, and then be included in the tandem repeats meta-search engine of TReaDS.
-
We are working on an improvement to the efficiency of the program based on using the Lempel-Ziv factorization of the input sequence.
-
We are working on developing a useful set of parameters to
enable our program to be used to locate tandem repeats in protein sequences.
